Your new role
As Commercial Key Account Executive at Novo Nordisk Mexico (NNMX), you will be the trusted partner for some of our most important customers – from pharmacy chains and wholesalers to internal business units. Your mission is to maximise NNMX's sales and profitability by designing personalised strategic plans for each account and uncovering new business opportunities, always aligned with the Novo Nordisk Way.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned key customers, organising periodic meetings to evaluate business evolution and responding quickly to their needs;
Developing innovative commercial strategies to grow NNMX volume and market share in the private market, fully aligned with Novo Nordisk compliance;
Translating strategy into clear action plans – with specific tasks, deadlines, owners and resources – and ensuring product displacement through NuevoYo®;
Negotiating contracts, prices and distribution agreements that benefit both NNMX and the client, while guaranteeing optimal sales conditions and Days on Hand (DoH);
Optimising channels by minimising returns, avoiding overstocks, ensuring optimal allocation across points of sale and setting monthly sales targets based on In-Market MME;
Collaborating cross-functionally with Business Unit Directors, Pricing, Sales, Product Managers and Finance & Operations to deliver effective solutions for your accounts.
Your new department
You will join the Market Access team at Novo Nordisk Mexico, reporting to a Commercial Operations Senior Manager. It is a fast-moving, collaborative environment where commercial creativity, analytical thinking and customer obsession come together to expand access to our therapies across the Mexican market.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a commercially minded professional who enjoys building partnerships, negotiating with confidence and turning insight into action. You will bring with you:
A professional degree in Administration, Finance or a related field;
At least 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in key account management, commercial or sales roles;
Strong business acumen and the agility to adapt quickly in a constantly evolving market, while keeping the customer at the centre;
Solid project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence colleagues and customers across multiple levels;
Excellent communication and presentation skills, paired with creativity, innovation and a collaborative mindset open to giving and receiving feedback.
