Job Description

Purpose

This role leads the commercial development of IDEMIA in the Argentine market, with full ownership of the sales relationship across existing accounts and new business opportunities. The Account Manager is expected to operate as both a hunter and a farmer: protecting and growing current revenue while actively prospecting new clients and untapped verticals. The permanent target is to build long-term partnerships grounded in value — not price — and to position IDEMIA as a strategic partner across telecommunications, utilities, automotive, payments, and IoT industries.

Key Missions

  • Deliver contract and business-as-usual performance including revenue targets, Average Selling Price (ASP), cash collection, and add-on growth across the assigned portfolio.
  • Develop deep knowledge of each customer's business environment, operational challenges, and strategic priorities, translating that insight into value-based proposals that go beyond transactional selling.
  • Create and maintain individual account plans for major customers, with short, mid, and long-term expansion goals focused on upsell, cross-sell, and new revenue streams.
  • Ensure contract renewals by owning the full renewal strategy: preparing and presenting customer offers, driving offer reviews, and ensuring coherency between commercial, technical, and legal teams.
  • Lead and coordinate IDEMIA's participation in RFX processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), from opportunity qualification through to the formulation and delivery of the technical and commercial response.
  • Conduct negotiations and secure contract signatures in alignment with company policy and legal matrix.
  • Prospect and develop new accounts across non-traditional verticals including utilities, automotive, and digital payments, building pipeline in markets where IDEMIA's presence is still emerging.
  • Own and prepare the budget and revenue forecast, ensuring accuracy and proactive communication of risks and opportunities to the Regional Director.
  • Align customers to IDEMIA's product roadmap, driving product migrations and positioning advanced solutions including SIM, eSIM, and iSIM as strategic enablers for the customer's business.
  • Represent IDEMIA at industry events, trade shows, and executive networking spaces to strengthen market presence and generate qualified leads.
  • Contribute competitive intelligence and market insights to the regional team on a regular basis.

Technical Skills

  • Market, Business & Product Knowledge — deep understanding of the telecom and IoT ecosystem in LATAM, with preferred exposure to SIM/eSIM/iSIM solutions and connectivity platforms.
  • RFX Process Management — ability to lead complex bid processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver structured, high-quality commercial responses.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) — disciplined pipeline management and forecast accuracy using CRM tools.
  • Contract Management — experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing B2B contracts with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Value-Based Selling — ability to build and articulate business cases that position IDEMIA's solutions based on customer impact, not price.
