THE OPPORTUNITY:


We are currently seeking an experienced, professional Key Account Manager with strong sales experience and a passion for building partnerships with regional and national customers and distribution partners. Our ideal candidate will be an energetic individual who can effectively communicate Diversey’s products and programs with key stakeholders at all levels of the customers organization, from C-Suite to store level personnel. This role requires previous experience in commercial cleaning applications, retail operations, food safety and data analytics. If you are able and ready to promote and expand our reach through sustainable growth and satisfied customers, we are ready to meet you. Ideal candidates will reside in the Chicago area.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts through personal visits and follow-up on a regular basis, with an eye toward account retention and growth.
  • Secure account penetration and loyalty, by adding overall value to customer accounts; improving current programs, and introducing new innovations and reporting.
  • Drive engagement with customers at all levels to ensure needs are met, apprise customers of mutual performance, new products, programs and market trends through periodic and formal Business Reviews.
  • Develop and qualify leads within respective geography to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and social selling techniques.
  • Present and create multi-product solution opportunities through presentations, training, and demonstrations.
  • Provide customer training and support as needed across the customer's entire enterprise.
  • Accurately complete administrative duties; budgeting, forecasting and expenses.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Proven negotiation, relationship management, communication and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking, financial acumen, negotiation, conflict resolution and strong analytical skills.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel, including some overnights - must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

GENERAL SCOPE

Manages an assigned account, or group of accounts, with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customers through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A Sales Service Professional’s sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Sales Service Professional may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that is not their primary assignment or job responsibility.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,730.00 and $118,404.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
