The Opportunity

We’re looking for a relationship-led Key Account Manager to retain, grow and optimise a portfolio of strategic customers across Central & North Queensland and the Northern Territory

This is a newly created role based in Townsville, designed to support a growing and complex operating region. You’ll focus on long-term partnerships, contract renewals, pricing strategy and cross-service solutions.

If you’re a consultative “farmer” who thrives in multi-service environments, this role is for you.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and manage a portfolio of strategic key accounts, acting as the senior trusted contact
  • Drive retention, contract renewals and sustainable revenue growth
  • Lead commercial outcomes including account planning, pricing and negotiations
  • Identify cross‑service growth opportunities and deliver solutions with internal teams
  • Maintain strong governance through CRM discipline, reporting and safety compliance

To be successful in this role, you'll have

  • Proven experience managing key or national accounts in a complex B2B environment
  • Strong commercial, financial and negotiation capability
  • Consultative, relationship‑led approach focused on retention and growth
  • Confident stakeholder manager across customers and internal teams
  • Disciplined with CRM, reporting and account planning
  • Previous experience working in transport, logistics or FMCG at pace will see you succeed in this role
