Job Characteristics: Is responsible for the sale of all institutional Division products to Strategic accounts; establishing strong business relationships with the accounts which result in the maintenance of existing business, and developing new business to meet sales and profit goals (business objectives). Key Account Managers will interface and coordinate efforts with field sales teams, including Account Executives and Regional Sales Managers. The Key Account Manager will build relationships with internal cross-functional teams such as Finance, Marketing, Legal and Technical Affairs.
Education/Work Experience: Typically requires 3-4 years of experience in a field or equivalent sales role. Proven ability to manage relationships - customer as well as internal relationships.
Independence Level/Reports to: The Key Account Manager will typically report to a Sr. Corporate Account Manager.
