Job Description

Capgemini is seeking a Sr Manager to lead and deliver Commerce services. The role focuses on improving processes related to Sales Strategy and Planning, Joint Business Planning (JBP), Planograms, Trade Promotion Effectiveness and Commerce Analytics. This position requires close collaboration with clients, strong teamwork, and the ability to coach both Capgemini and client teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of sales plans, identifying opportunities and analyzing market trends.
  • Lead and support Joint Business Plans with key customers, ensuring alignment on priorities, objectives and execution milestones.
  • Track performance metrics, analyze data and identify opportunities to improve Commerce Effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors and market dynamics.
  • Understand ecommerce and digital marketing.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Recruit, manage and coach team members and monitor objectives to ensure business results.

Functional Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of category management and sales processes for Modern Trade and Distributed Trade.
  • Ability to collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Product and other functions.
  • Experience with CRM systems, revenue management tools and data analysis platforms.
  • Understanding of change management for large transformation programs.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Leadership and team development.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 10 years of commercial, category or sales experience, including 7 years in FMCG leading teams in Modern Trade or Distributed Trade.
  • Experience managing large teams of up to 50 people.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Fluent English.
