The Key Account Manager will be responsible for all sales activities within the territory. This includes managing existing customers, as well as developing new business to meet or exceed assigned bookings goals. The Key Account Manager will be the primary contact for their customers and will be responsible for supporting them in any way possible to ensure long term relationships are built. They will also be responsible for keeping up to date records on customer activity through our CRM system.
Responsibilities
• Develop new business to meet established annual bookings goals.
• Maintain regular, planned communication with key decision makers at strategic accounts.
• Provide product demonstrations and application support.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to potential buyers.
• Negotiate prices and other terms of sale.
• Create and submit quotations and proposals.
• Analyze customer needs, prepare bids, and make persuasive sales presentations.
• Close sales to meet or exceed assigned bookings goal.
• Plan and prioritize activities throughout the selling process.
• Monitor market trends and competitive products.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’ s degree or above in Business Administration, Automation, or related field
• Five years of sales experience preferably with high technology products or services.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and solid analytical skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritize activities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision making ability.
• PC proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
