YOUR ROLE

Based within the LATAM Commercial Desk, you will support the Key Account Management team in the day-to-day management and performance monitoring of a portfolio of strategic accounts.

In a dynamic and demanding environment, you will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, supporting customer relationships, and contributing to commercial performance and operational excellence across the network.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
You will support the Key Account Manager in driving performance, managing customer relationships, and ensuring efficient coordination with internal teams and the global network.


A. Data, Reporting & Systems

  • Monitor account performance through daily data extraction and consolidation from QlikView and internal tools
  • Maintain KPI tracking files (business potential, appointments, contract milestones, performance vs commitments)
  • Ensure accurate input and maintenance of contractual conditions in LARA (tariffs, payment terms, demurrage)
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance dashboards and reporting materials
  • Identify and escalate any data inconsistencies or performance gaps

B. Customer Relationship Support
  • Support the Key Account Manager in the operational follow-up of portfolio accounts
  • Handle routine customer requests (quotations, documentation, equipment availability, shipment tracking)
  • Escalate sensitive or strategic matters when required
  • Contribute to Tender and RFQ processes (data collection, offer preparation, consistency checks)
  • Prepare customer performance meetings (agenda, materials, minutes, action follow-up)
  • Ensure customer requirements are properly executed across the network

C. Commercial Monitoring & Commitments
  • Track volume performance against contractual commitments and raise alerts in case of deviation
  • Maintain and update customer presentations and commercial materials
  • Support communication of new services, trade lanes, and value-added solutions
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction through proactive communication, especially during service disruptions

D. Network Coordination & Procedures
  • Develop and update SOPs for each account to ensure alignment across the network
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders (Head Office, Regional Offices, Agencies)
  • Contribute to the weekly Commercial Desk reporting
  • Monitor the proper handling of accounts and follow up with stakeholders when needed
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (+3/+4) with 2 to 4 years of experience, ideally in shipping, logistics, or supply chain
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in data handling
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and good familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (QlikView and LARA are a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Team player with strong coordination and collaboration abilities
