We are looking for a Key Account Executive to deliver accelerated sales, market share targets through creating, selling and executing the category commercial elements of customer Joint Business Plan with the Customer, to build brand reputation in the customer, ensuring that the Company policies & principles are applied in all aspects of the business relationship, and to Lead the internal agenda and be the “go to” person for issues and opportunities relating to the customer in the category.

A day in the life of a Key Account Executive

  • Develops a solid understanding of the category in the customer – role of the category for customer, strategic direction/goals of the customer, average retail margins of category, new product introduction guidelines, shelf management guidelines & buyer KPI’s, competitive landscape.
  • Feeds customer needs and strategy into the ICP process to influence the Nestlé category plans to meet the needs of the customer.
  • Build the numerical bottom up plan using base/promotions/NPD/ category trends
  • Integrate new store openings in order to achieve target for the year.
  • Anticipate opportunities for the category and customer or issues that may arise, and take appropriate proactive steps.
  • Set sales target for sales team by regions (LTP Sales Reps, etc).
  • Responsible for PTE budget, aligned to BU direction defined by category/channel/customer.
  • Drive business relationship with account, understand the customers’ business and ensure customer intimacy, together with NCM team.
  • Ensure On Time In Full Execution of the agreed initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Demand Planning and Sales Operations and lead merchandising team to ensure execution of the following:
    • Delivery of compliance to planogram
    • Ensuring timely execution of KMA and Promotion Bulletin
    • Ensuring the outlet complies with the T&C for additional space
    • Drive additional displays of all products to ensure improved visibility
    • Ensuring usage of latest POSM
    • Conduct monthly operations review with FSE region team
  • Practice FIFO in outlets to ensure products are fresh/clean for sales.

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline
  • 5+ years experience in Key Account Management or Commercial Sales
  • FMCG experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing modern trade, distributors, or ecommerce accounts
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiation and P&L management
  • Datadriven decision making and analytical capability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High ownership, resilience, and results orientation
