The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, relationship-focused sales professional to take the next step into a Key Account Management role within a high-growth global organisation. As a Key Account Manager, you will actively drive value and growth through developing, nurturing, and expanding high-value customer relationships within the Event Industry adopting a strategic and targeted approach with identified key customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining key customer relationships and identifying opportunities for continued growth and development.
  • Pro-actively anticipating customer requirements and ensuring flawless end to end customer service.
  • Acting as primary point of contact for customer queries or concerns.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders across the business to ensure seamless delivering against the client expectations.
  • Making effective and constant use of the internal CRM system in order to track and develop opportunities effectively.
  • Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a best-in-class service.
  • Undertaking weekly reporting and other ad hoc requirements as they arise.

Essential Skills &

Experience:

The successful candidate needs to be highly energetic, articulate and a self-starter with the desire to develop their career within a fast-paced team. Candidates must possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in a targeted and driven sales roles, preferably within the Events Sector.
  • Experience of working independently to form strategic plans in an efficient and organised way
  • Articulate communicator both in writing, on the telephone and in person and will have an eye for detail and a desire to 'get it right first time'
  • Demonstrable experience of strong relationship-building and creating new opportunities
  • Trustworthy and conscientious and ideally have experience of being able to work alone with minimal supervision
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with existing customers as well as being able to develop relationships with potential customers.
