The Senior Accounting Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of accounting records and financial reporting for Kering Brazil. This position supports the monthly close process, statutory reporting, tax reconciliations, payroll accounting, and financial controls while partnering closely with Shared Services, Tax, Payroll, Finance, and external stakeholders. The role requires a hands-on accounting professional with strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset. The Senior Accounting Analyst will contribute to maintaining high-quality financial information in compliance with BRGAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements.

The Senior Accounting Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of accounting records and financial reporting for Kering Brazil. This position supports the monthly close process, statutory reporting, tax reconciliations, payroll accounting, and financial controls while partnering closely with Shared Services, Tax, Payroll, Finance, and external stakeholders.

The role requires a hands-on accounting professional with strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and a continuous improvement mindset. The Senior Accounting Analyst will contribute to maintaining high-quality financial information in compliance with BRGAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and local regulatory requirements.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Execute and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and propose corrective actions when necessary.
  • Analyze profit and loss accounts, ensuring proper classification and allocation of revenues, expenses, and accruals.
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany balances, identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with local and international stakeholders.
  • Review direct taxes, indirect taxes, and withholding tax calculations against the general ledger, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Process and validate payroll-related journal entries, ensuring alignment between payroll reports and accounting records.
  • Ensure compliance with the accrual accounting principle and proper recognition of financial transactions and business events.
  • Prepare financial reports, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for submission to corporate and regional headquarters.
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with Brazilian Accounting Standards (CPCs), IFRS, and local regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation, explanations, and support throughout the audit cycle.
  • Act as a key partner to Tax, Payroll, AP, AR, and Shared Services teams to ensure data accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor accounting controls and identify opportunities to strengthen compliance, accuracy, and process effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation, standardization, and enhanced accounting procedures.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements, including submissions to governmental and statistical agencies such as IBGE.
  • Maintain and validate vendor registration records within the local ERP environment.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, financial analyses, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives as requested by management.
  • Contribute to maintaining a strong internal control environment and support compliance with Group policies and procedures.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Solid experience in accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
  • Strong understanding of BRGAAP, IFRS, accounting controls, and financial statement preparation.
  • Experience managing balance sheet and P&L analysis, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Experience supporting multinational environments is highly preferred.
  • Retail, luxury, consumer goods, or shared services experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Hands-on profile with initiative, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and countries.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Customer-service oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships across Finance and business teams.
