We are currently seeking a District Director for Southern Texas, who will report to the Regional VP of Sales, as part of our Core US team.
Your opportunity
The District Director plays a key leadership role within the Sales team. He/she is responsible for continuously leading and coaching respective brand ambassadors in delivering exceptional results and providing the highest standard of customer service, always thriving for excellence. The District Director is responsible for defining and executing strategic action plans to ensure a strong control of KPI’s and sales activities. The District Director must identify key talent; be able to create and implement development plans, drive a strong induction and maintain a strong presence within the market, with extraordinary passion for networking and brands.
How you will contribute
Lead, Mentor, Coach Brand Ambassadors to achieve their highest potential through consistent training and goal planning
Drive and maximize sales performance to consistently achieve the overall sales budget objectives while ensuring operational integrity and monitoring monthly profitability
Drive the implementation of company strategies by motivating and supporting the sales brand ambassador teams
Support proper routing and consistent store visits; co-travel 3-4 days per week with his/her sales brand ambassadors
Build and nurture relationships with customers, maintaining a strong presence within the market and conducting client visits on a consistent basis
Contribute to the enhancement of Sales Company processes as needed, liaising with all departments involved
Build and implement business plans for top customers, based on the definition of structured targets and investment needs
Monitor closely all KPIs regarding productivity, sales, and customer service to identifying opportunities and creating strategic action plans to sustain growth
Track sales and status reports by Brand Ambassador by brand, building and executing recovery plans
Analyze sale/business to identify trends and opportunities, develop strategic action plans that executes with his/her team of Brand Ambassadors in collaboration with other functions
Evaluate distribution and identify elevation opportunities
Provide bottom-up forecasting and implement strategies for gap closure
Actively search and understand market competition with focus on gaining market share
Periodic comprehensive reporting to management with strategic content
Drive forecast planning process for respective district; provide bottom-up forecasting and implement strategies for gap closure
Promote brand awareness, establish market/store presence, and capture competitive market share. Establish a baseline by market for optimal growth
Drive and deliver on local, regional, and national selling events
Demonstrate effective managerial competencies: team building, coaching, lead change initiatives; enforce synergy and teamwork
Continuously monitor sales brand ambassador teams and provide constructive feedback on performance / selling ceremony/ customer service / in-store presence / etc , as needed;
Partner with Regional VP and Human Resource on complex employee relations issues and escalate, as needed
Partner with the Regional VP and with HR on the annual performance review process and compensation review process for respective district
Attract, recruit, and retain a high performing team. Build a talent pipeline through networking
Ensure a consistent and branded onboarding experience for new hires
Collaborate with the training department on new product and service trainings
Who you are
Experience of at least 7 years in sales management, with experience in a district role;
Experience within healthcare/eyecare industries (incl. Optical lens business), outdoor brands, fashion, luxury, cosmetics and/or consumer goods environments
Operates with a high degree of ethics and integrity
Strong business acumen, highly analytical
Able to identify business needs, able to define, present and drive the implementation of business plans and targetsProven track record of growing sales and building door distribution among Optical, optometrist, ophthalmologist, sunglass, and lifestyle retailers
Able to build, manage and nurture strong relationships with customers, based on high service levels and trust.
Experience in collaborating with multiple teams - Human Resources, Store Operations, Marketing, etc.
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Great verbal and written communication skills; excellent presentation skills
Very proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Strategic and focused on the end results

Available to travel up to 75% of his/her time
Based in Houston. A ustin/San Antonio will be considered too
