The intern will be responsible in the following:
• Comprehend ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018 standards.
• Assist in preparing and organizing internal and external audit documentation, schedules, and logistics.
• Participate in audits, including notetaking during meetings and reviewing compliance evidence.
• Track audit findings and support timely closure with proper documentation.
• Maintain audit trackers and contribute to post-audit reporting and improvement initiatives.
• Collect and analyze data on energy consumption, emissions, and environmental performance indicators to support internal sustainability reporting and ensure alignment with ISO 50001:2018 and corporate sustainability objectives.
Learning Outcomes:
• Gain practical exposure and hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) with respect to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 50001:2018 audit methodology and quality management principles.
• Develop skills in audit coordination, stakeholder communication, and compliance documentation to ensure audit readiness.
• Understand the role of QMS in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with pleasant personality.
• Excellent communication skills and able to do critical analysis and communicate ideas across all levels
• Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
