Job Description

The Keno Runner/Writer provides friendly, courteous, and efficient Keno service to guests. Collects wagers, writes Keno tickets and makes payouts according to procedures set of the Company.

Requirements

· Effectively provide service to guests, some of whom will require patience, tact and diplomacy.

· Develop new Keno players for the property.

· Act independently and provide clear direction and guidance to guests.

· Promote Keno game by verbal and visual explanation.

· Create accurate computer-generated Keno tickets.

· Operate the Keno booth collecting Keno tickets and money from customers in exchange for a valid printed Keno ticket in an accurate and timely manner.

· Picks up and delivers tickets to players located elsewhere on property away from the Keno lounge.

· Run tickets to certain restaurants within the casino, collecting Keno tickets and returning with valid printed Keno tickets with the proper changes and or winnings.

· Maintains and balances all monies and secure bank.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months customer related experience and/or training; or equivalent completion of education and experience required.

Work Environment and ADA Requirements:

Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire shift. Must be able to work in an environment with loud background noise and smoky conditions. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, twist, crouch, squat, lift. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
