St. Clair Animal Care is looking for a full-time Kennel Worker to help care for our hospitalized and boarding patients while supporting our doctors and veterinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in creating a clean and comfortable environment for pets, and wants to make a meaningful difference every day.

What You'll Do

  • Walk and exercise hospitalized and boarding dogs
  • Feed and monitor dogs and cats staying in our hospital and kennel
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, runs, and animal housing areas
  • Bathe dogs and cats as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the kennel and hospital
  • Observe patients for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall condition and report concerns to the medical team
  • Assist with general hospital support duties as needed
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and clients

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
  • Comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform the physical duties of the position
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Previous animal care or customer service experience is a plus
