Love working with animals? Come join our fun and dedicated team! We are a fast paced and busy animal shelter that is currently looking for highly motivated, hardworking individuals to join the Nevada County Animal Shelter team.
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendants to work both part-time and full-time. The ideal candidates will have a passion for animal care and be committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for animals. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care.

Education and Experience Required
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certificate
AND
three months of experience in a position requiring any combination of public contact, or, in the handling and caring of a large number of animals, or, in custodial or facility cleaning experience (note: private ownership of animals is not considered qualifying experience).
