Best Friends Veterinary Hospital, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, is looking for a part -time Kennel Assistant to join our Team! We are located in Crossville, TN. Our employees go the extra mile to provide warm, empathetic service to our clients and their pets.

Best Friends Veterinary Hospital uses outstanding equipment, complies with strict safety protocols, and goes the extra mile to provide warm, empathetic service to our patients and clients. In addition, our animal hospital is staffed with professionals who take extra measures to eliminate fearfulness, anxiety, and stress in our patients.
Our Kennel Assistants provide daily care for our boarders and assist with kennel maintenance. Their main objective is to properly board our dogs and cats, provide a fun-filled and safe environment for the pets in our care. Additionally, this means interacting with our clients as they pick up and drop off their pets. Working with dogs is a lot of fun, but this job is extremely demanding and requires someone who understands dog behavior and has excellent dog handling skills.
Candidates must be organized, able to communicate clearly with staff and owners, work independently and have a passion for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Candidates must be knowledgeable about dog behavior and body language and able to redirect dogs that are exhibiting inappropriate behavior in a safe manner.
