Job Description

Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and premier employer. We are looking for a General Manager to join the team. This position will be located in the greater Vancouver and Portland area.

This is not an entry level position. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years work experience with demonstrated success in auto dealership management, with an emphasis on sales operations is required. The required schedule will include evenings and weekends; extended work hours will often be required without advanced notice. Annual wage ranges from $200,000-$300,000.

The broad responsibilities of this position do not allow for a comprehensive listing of all tasks and assignments; the dealership General Manager is required to assume a broad and proactive role in ensuring dealership processes are completed and goals met.

Some essential duties include providing staff management and development to both direct and indirect reports, reviewing performance data to monitor and measure productivity and develop processes to ensure client and employee satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate will display skills in strategic planning, organizing, effective communication, and the ability to analyze and solve complex problems. Candidate should also practice sound judgment in a variety of circumstances with the ability to rapidly apply decisions.

Work is primarily performed indoors with some exposure to the outdoors to assist in vehicles sales; indoors work spending the majority of shift working on PCs and using telephone systems. Occasional travel to out-of-town events required. Carrying and lifting occasionally required up to 20lbs.

Requirements
