Job Description

Genesis of Kansas City | New State-of-the-Art Facility on I-35

Most managers want security.

We are looking for someone who wants responsibility, pressure, growth, and upside.

Genesis of Kansas City is moving into a brand-new flagship facility on I-35, and we are looking for an Assistant General Manager with the ability-and ambition-to become a General Manager.

This is not position for someone who wants to sit in an office watching the business from behind a computer screen. We want a leader who is visible, engaged, competitive, and relentlessly driven to improve performance.

You will be expected to:

  • Take ownership of your department and its results
  • Identify problems before they are pointed out
  • Create solutions instead of waiting for instructions
  • Build culture through accountability and example
  • Lead from the front, not from a desk
  • Inspire people while still demanding excellence

We are looking for someone with the mindset of a Servant Leader – someone who pushes the team hard because they care deeply about winning together. The role is built for a person who believes in their ability enough to bet on themselves.

Compensation

The compensation structure is heavily performance-based with substantial upside. We are far more interested in rewarding exceptional results than offering a large, guaranteed salary. If you are elite at what you do and produce, you will be paid at the top of the market.
