What will you do?

The Kanban Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing material flow strategies across production lines. This role ensures that materials are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time to support manufacturing operations. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. Additionally, this position will audit the Kanban process, oversee the management of Kanban cards, and ensure that the entire flow operates seamlessly across internal operations and supplier interactions.

How will you do it?

  • Develop and implement material flow processes to support production requirements.

  • Design layouts and logistics strategies for efficient material handling.

  • Define and maintain Kanban systems, picklists, and replenishment methods.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and warehouse teams to align material flow with production schedules.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on material delivery and inventory accuracy.

  • Support implementation of lean manufacturing and ABC/XYZ analysis for material classification.

  • Monitor KPIs related to material availability, line stoppages, and logistics efficiency.

  • Audit Kanban processes and Kanban cards to ensure the entire flow operates seamlessly.

  • Lead the development and on-site training of the Kanban methodology to strengthen adoption and sustainability.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in material flow, logistics engineering, or manufacturing support.

  • Knowledge of material flow processes.

  • Experience in designing and creating PFEP & ABC/XYZ analysis.

  • Knowledge in tugger route implementation.

  • Knowledge in Kanban and Kitting process implementation.

  • Familiarity with lean tools and methodologies.

  • Ability to calculate headcount requirements.

  • Experience with software design and intermediate Excel skills.

  • Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Analytical skills with ability to interpret data and propose improvements.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
