We are looking for an experienced KAM Lead to drive strategic customer relationships, manage a high-performing Key Account Management team, and ensure long-term business growth through exceptional client engagement. The ideal candidate is a customer-centric leader with strong experience in handling enterprise or strategic accounts while mentoring and leading KAM professionals to achieve business objectives.
As a KAM Lead, you will be responsible for developing account strategies, strengthening client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, and Leadership teams to maximize account value, improve retention, and drive revenue expansion.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing large or strategic customer portfolios.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Key Account Managers to achieve individual and team performance goals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic customers and key stakeholders.
- Develop account growth strategies that increase customer retention, revenue, and profitability.
- Monitor account health, customer satisfaction, and service delivery to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Identify upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, and Finance teams to deliver seamless customer engagement.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key clients and provide strategic recommendations.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns by coordinating with internal stakeholders and ensuring timely resolution.
- Track account performance using KPIs, prepare management reports, and present business insights to leadership.
- Forecast account revenue, pipeline growth, and renewal opportunities accurately.
- Establish best practices for account management processes and continuously improve team efficiency.
- Coach team members through regular feedback, performance reviews, and skill development initiatives.
- Drive customer retention initiatives while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual commitments, and service-level agreements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience working with cross-functional business teams.
- Understanding of customer success methodologies and account planning.
- Exposure to SaaS, technology, enterprise services, B2B, or consulting environments is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 5–15 years of experience in Key Account Management, Customer Success, Enterprise Sales, or Client Relationship Management.
- Prior experience leading KAM teams and managing strategic enterprise accounts.
- Demonstrated success in improving customer retention, account growth, and client satisfaction.
