What you can do

As a member of the Manufacturing Engineering department at the GE Vernova production site in Birr, you will actively contribute to supporting the department in production as a cost calculator and bring your own initiative to the fore.

Your tasks

• Calculate new and service offers for generator rotors and turbines
• Creating Manuals for Generator Rotors and Turbines
• Carry out feasibility studies of projects in cooperation with the plant specialists
• Create project-specific post-calculations based on technical documents
• Carry out ongoing project post-calculations
• Prepare additional cost analyses for scope changes
• Lead technical meetings with customers and technical departments in the quotation phase
• Implementing cost-out measures in cooperation with AVOR
• Perform design comparisons between different generator rotor and turbine types
• Create bid analyses after project completion
• Conduct project reviews with process-relevant departments
• Train apprentices in the field of cost calculation for generator rotors and turbines

What you should bring with you (basic qualifications)

• Completed technical vocational training or comparable experience
• Experience in industrial manufacturing
• Prospective/completed HF/FH continuing education is an advantage
• Experience in the field of Product Costing & Costing
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Good PC and SAP skills
