Job Description

Summary

Chobani Mexico is looking for a hands-on Key Account Executive to help build and develop our business across Proximity Channels, primarily Convenience, Hard Discount and Pharmacy.

This role goes beyond managing established accounts. The KAE will identify and develop new customer opportunities, build commercially viable proposals and coordinate the execution of pilots, launches and expansion plans.

The ideal candidate combines customer development, analytical capability and strong execution skills, and is comfortable working in a growing business where commercial models and processes are still being built.

Responsibilities

Manage priority customers across Convenience, Hard Discount and Pharmacy.

Build account plans, commercial proposals and customer business cases.

Identify the right portfolio, pack formats, pricing and trade terms for each customer and channel.

Support customer negotiations and advance opportunities from initial contact through onboarding and launch.

Design and execute pilots with clear commercial, operational and performance criteria.

Coordinate cross-functional launch activities with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Demand Planning, Quality, Legal and Customer Service.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

Profitable net sales and volume growth versus plan.

Development of a qualified customer pipeline and progression against key commercial milestones.

New customer acquisition and conversion of opportunities into active launches.

Successful execution of pilots and conversion into scalable business.

Productive distribution, active stores and sales velocity by customer and SKU.

Customer profitability and trade investment effectiveness.

Forecast accuracy and management of demand bias.

Launch readiness and execution against agreed milestones.

Compliance with approved pricing, trade terms and commercial investment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a related field.

3–5 years of commercial experience in FMCG/CPG in Mexico.

Experience in Key Accounting, Business Development or customer/channel expansion.

Exposure to Convenience, Hard Discount, Pharmacy or refrigerated/perishable categories is strongly preferred.

Ability to develop customer business cases and analyze pricing, margins, trade terms and profitability.

Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint and business storytelling skills.

Fluent business-level English.
