Job Description

In this role, you will manage, coordinate, and oversee the full lifecycle of test vehicles, including preparation, assembly, approval, operation, and test completion, ensuring optimal quality, timeline, and cost to effectively support the development of new vehicle programs.


1. Project Coordination & Vehicle Test Preparation
• Update Vehicle Requirements into the assembly checklist, monitor and approve the test vehicle plan.
• Track prototype vehicle production progresses via MVT (Master Vehicle Tracker), including vehicle status and key issues for each project.
• Coordinate with relevant departments (VDD, MML, MFG, QC, Prototype Build, QCD, TQA, Suppliers, etc.) to ensure vehicle quality and on-time delivery.
• Standardize workflows, report formats, and KPI tracking to improve efficiency and transparency.
• Use digital tools (JIRA) to manage progress, changes, and vehicle status reporting.
• Optimize test vehicle assembly costs, including parts procurement and replacement.
2. Test Vehicle Management & Operation
• Monitor and manage the entire lifecycle of test vehicles from approval to disposal.
• Assess vehicle condition (hardware and software) and update accurate data into the JIRA system.
• Develop re-purpose plans and coordinate optimal vehicle rotation.
• Guide the process for parts replacement, create DCRs, place material orders, and track upgrade progress to support quality evaluation under new software versions.
3. Process Standardization & Optimization
• Standardize key processes, including the procurement process for test vehicle parts.
• Establish baseline test vehicle plans for each vehicle line.
• Standardize report templates, processes, and tracking tools to enhance overall management efficiency.
• Prepare weekly reports for the Vehicle/Logistics team and propose cost optimization and efficiency improvement actions.
4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor daily progress, collect data from MVT, and update information with relevant departments in the project.
• Report vehicle status, propose corrective actions, and improve processes.


Requirements


1.

Educational Background


  • Graduated from university
    with a major in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Technology,
    Logistics, or equivalent.

  • Holds a Bachelor's or
    Engineering degree.


2.

Work Experience


  • Minimum of 2 years of
    experience in project management, production, or operations in a manufacturing
    environment.

  • Preferably with experience
    in the Automotive, Motorcycle, or Manufacturing industries.


3.

Skills & Competencies


  • Proficient in Microsoft
    Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Familiarity with SAP, JIRA,
    and TeamCenter is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and
    cross-functional coordination skills.

  • Ability to work
    independently and in teams and perform well under pressure.

  • Good English communication
    skills (listening – speaking – reading – writing).
