As a Mover/Driver for Junkluggers of NYC you are the important front-line folks of our business. "Luggers" are the face of the company to our loyal customers. They are a liaison between the customer and office. This is much MORE than a physical labor or driving position; there is a huge customer service component as well. Added bonus if you have experience driving a small truck and moving furniture/heavy items!

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:


(CDL NOT Required) You must meet all of our company's insurance requirements in order to be considered for the position.

• VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE IS MUST!
• NY, NJ, CT and PA licenses ONLY
• MINIMUM 3 YEARS of relative violation-free and accident-free driving

Driver position: The position pays $17- $18.50 per hour, plus customer tips. Drivers who meet our qualifications based upon several factors will start at a higher pay rate within the range. After 3 months of training and good standing within the company, you'll be eligible for a bump in your hourly pay.

Navigator position: This position pays $16.50 per hour, plus customer tips. After the 3 months of training, please note there is no increase in the rate.

Total compensation, after all factors, ranges from $23 - $30+ an hour with significant room for growth (inclusive of base hourly wage as well as customer tips and weekly performance bonuses).

Hours of Operation: Weekday & Weekend shifts (must be flexible with your schedule, and while hours will definitely vary from week-to-week, especially seasonally, this position is best designed to be your main focus)

Salary: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Weekend availability (MUST be able to work a Sat or Sun every other weekend)

COVID-19 considerations:

All employees will be required to be fully vaccinated. In order to start your employment, you must have AT LEAST one shot in place, and open to getting the second one as soon as possible (boosters NOT required at this time).
