
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITITES
JUNIOR DEALER
Prepare daily cash flow forecasts for LCY and FCY positions and highlight gaps to the Senior Dealer.
Update and circulate daily liquidity position reports to management.
Track inflows/outflows, coupon receipts, maturities, and CRR debits.
Execute routine money market trades (placements, takings, repos) under supervision.
Capture trades in the Treasury system accurately and promptly.
Reconcile positions and ensure breaks are resolved in coordination with Middle/Back Office.
Maintain schedule of FVOCI and AMC portfolio maturities and coupon payments
Track market prices/yields and flag significant movements for action.
Support reinvestment activities by providing indicative pricing and market levels.
Maintain deposit pricing sheets for LCY and FCY products.
Provide rate indications to branches and business units.
SENIOR DEALER
Lead daily liquidity management and cash flow forecasting for LCY & FCY positions.
Execute interbank placements, repos, borrowings, and FX swaps to optimize cost of funds.
Monitor intraday positions, anticipate liquidity gaps, and propose funding solutions.
Maintain adequate liquidity buffers while minimizing idle balances
Responsible for eliminating inefficiency and suboptimal use of liquidity
Responsible for daily funding and gapping of liquidity using available placement and funding limits
Charged with the responsibility to make money from arbitrage opportunities in the market
Implement and monitor transfer pricing rates across products and currencies.
Review and approve deposit pricing concessions within delegated limits.
Escalate out-of-policy requests to the Head of Risk Treasury for approval
Manage daily operations of FVOCI (AFS) and AMC (HTM) portfolios: T-bills, OMO bills, and bonds.
Recommend buy/sell strategies, duration positioning, and reinvestment of coupon/maturity proceeds.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Minimum Education:First Degree or its equivalent in any discipline preferably business related
Professional Qualification: CFA,LFA, ICAP an advantage
EXPERIENCE
Varies from 1– 5 years relevant Treasury experience.
For Senior dealer; 5-10 years relevant Treasury experience.
