Arcadis is seeking a Graduate/Junior Estimator to join our team in Kelowna. This role will support the development of cost estimates across project lifecycles, assist with cost analysis, risk and contingency assessments, and help maintain the accuracy and quality of estimating deliverables under the guidance of senior team members. In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support proposal development, cost forecasting, and project planning activities while gaining experience in industry standards, cost classifications, cost modeling, pricing, and market analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build estimating expertise and contribute to informed project and business decisions in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Role accountabilities:

  • Work on multiple civil and infrastructure projects under senior guidance.
  • Support cost estimating across project stages.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and proposals.

  • Collaborate with teams and build estimating skills.
  • Assist with quantity take-offs from drawings, BIM models, and design documentation.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Review drawings and design packages to identify scope and quantity requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Technical Qualifications

  • Recent graduate or final-year student in Civil Engineering
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Familiarity with BIM models and model navigation.
  • Basic experience with Bluebeam and PDF drawing reviews.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Personal Qualifications

  • Eager to learn and grow professionally.
  • Strong initiative and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
  • Comfortable working under mentorship from senior staff.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

The salary range for this position is $55,100 to $82,650 per year. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
