Responsibilities

• Define and manage platform architecture, ensuring scalability, modularity, and reusability
• Align platform strategy with product roadmap, performance, cost, and quality targets
• Oversee integration of systems and components (BIW, powertrain interfaces, chassis, interior/exterior) at platform level
• Ensure platform compliance with regulatory requirements and internal engineering standards
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and product management teams
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and change requests at platform level
• Monitor and control KPIs related to platform performance (cost efficiency, weight, timing, quality)
• Support decision-making for platform evolution, technology adoption, and innovation
• Ensure effective configuration management and lifecycle tracking through PLM systems
• Guide teams during industrialization and ensure smooth transition from development to production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 2 years experience in automotive engineering, with exposure to vehicle architecture or platform development
• Understanding of full vehicle development lifecycle and system integration
• Experience with systems engineering principles and architecture definition
• Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA V5/V6, NX) and PLM systems (ENOVIA, Teamcenter)
• Knowledge of engineering processes and standards (APQP, DFMEA, configuration management)
• Project and stakeholder management skills, especially in multi-project environments
• Ability to manage complexity, dependencies, and trade-offs across systems
• Excellent communication and alignment skills in an international environment
• Strategic mindset with focus on scalability, efficiency, and long-term platform evolution
