We’re flexible on location for this role, with the option to be based from our Birmingham, Tring or London office. Just so you know, our Engineering team is primarily based in Birmingham.

The role

To help ensure we stay at the top of our game, we are now looking for a new Junior UI/UX Designer to join us to help continue building a best-in-class digital experience for our customers. This new role will see you play an essential role in creating user-centred design solutions that not only look wicked but also make it easier for customers to purchase and manage their Huel subscriptions.

• Get stuck into designing and optimising experiences across the entire customer journey - from landing and product pages through to checkout, post-purchase, account areas and internal tools.
• Work closely with our Engineering, Marketing and Content teams to turn great ideas into digital experiences that make a real difference for our Hueligans.
• Help evolve and maintain our design system, making sure everything we create feels consistent, intuitive and unmistakably Huel.
• Get closer to our customers through UX research and usability testing, using what you learn to understand their needs and create better experiences.
• Keep making things better! Use feedback, data and user insights to iterate on designs and continuously improve the customer experience.

What we're looking for in you

We’re looking for someone early in their UI/UX career, ideally with 1–2 years’ experience, who’s curious, creative and excited to learn, develop and make an impact at Huel. You’ll also have:

• Some experience in UI/UX design and a portfolio you’re proud of - whether that’s from a role, internship or personal projects.
• A great eye for clean, user-centred design and a genuine curiosity for how digital products work (and how they could work better!).
• Familiarity with tools like Figma and, most importantly, an eagerness to keep learning and developing your skills.
• Comfortable receiving feedback, trying new things and iterating quickly to make your work even better.
• A brilliant communicator and team player who enjoys collaborating with others to bring ideas to life.
• Bonus points if you’ve had any exposure to e-commerce, conversion or performance-driven design.
