We are seeking a junior Tyre & Wheel Alignment Technician to join our busy Newmarket Tyre Centre. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in the tyre and automotive industry. About the Role

As part of our Service team, you’ll learn how to fit and repair tyres and assist with wheel alignments, with full training provided. We’re looking for someone who’s keen to learn, takes pride in doing a good job, and works safely and efficiently. You’ll also build confidence working with customers and supporting the team to deliver great service every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn how to fit, repair, and replace tyres with guidance from experienced team members
• Assist with wheel alignments and develop your skills over time through training
• Help ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a good standard
• Carefully move and handle customer vehicles while following the NZ Road Code and company guidelines
• Work closely with the team and communicate clearly to help meet customer needs
• Build your knowledge so you can confidently support customers and teammates
• Support the team in promoting tyre centre products and services
• Help with stock handling and keeping the workspace organised
• Keep work areas tidy and assist with maintaining tools and equipment

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, based in Newmarket.

About You

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions
• Positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
• Reliable and takes pride in turning up and doing a good job
• Friendly and customer focused approach
• Full NZ driver license preferred (or working towards it)
