Position

We are looking for a Junior Treasury Analyst to join our Group Treasury team and support day-to-day cash and payment operations across multiple international entities.

This is a hands-on, operational role with a strong focus on payment execution, cash monitoring, and banking activities. You will play a key role in ensuring liquidity availability, processing high volumes of payments, and handling urgent business requests in a dynamic environment.

This position is also critical in ensuring business continuity, internal controls, and proper segregation of duties within the Treasury function.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily cash balances and bank accounts across multiple entities.

• Execute and control high-volume payments, including suppliers, payroll, taxes, and intercompany transfers.

• Handle urgent and ad hoc payment requests, ensuring timely execution before cut-offs.

• Upload and process payments across multiple banking platforms.

• Investigate and resolve payment rejections and exceptions.

• Provide proof of payment to internal stakeholders and vendors.

• Prepare and manage payment batches and manual payments.

• Perform cash position checks before executing payments and support short-term liquidity planning.

• Assist in cash flow forecasting linked to payment cycles.

• Support treasury reporting and provide data for internal stakeholders.

• Assist in the management of loans, credit lines, and intercompany funding flows.

• Track and support exposure to FX and interest rate risks.

• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and segregation of duties.

• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting (AP/GL), and external banking partners.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in payment processing, cash operations, and banking activities (mandatory).

• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken (mandatory).

• Experience working with bank portals/e-banking platforms (highly preferred).

• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) or Treasury Management Systems (TMS) is a plus.

• Experience in an international or shared services environment.

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).

• Solid understanding of financial concepts (cash flow, liquidity, interest rates, FX).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy (critical for payments).

• Hands-on, proactive mindset with readiness to manage operational workload.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high volumes and time-sensitive tasks.

• Analytical thinking with the ability to assess cash impact before execution.

• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

• Well-organised with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.

• Positive, solution-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
