Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is the principal location for handling the business support activities and processes for Tate & Lyle, both transactional as well as value-added business partnering support. Starting operations in 2011 with less than 50 people, we now have over 350 employees supporting operations globally. We have 30 teams operating in Łódź to provide service in the areas of Finance, Customer Service, Procurement, HR/People Services, and IS/IT

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor payments, customer refunds, and employee reimbursements in compliance with payment terms and internal controls (in banks and SAP)
  • Efficiently process invoices and payments while meeting business and vendor expectations.
  • Monitor payment execution and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Manage daily cash positions
  • Maintain bank account balances, coordinate fund transfers, and manage excess cash efficiently.
  • Prepare cash forecasts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of bank transactions.
  • Maintain bank statements and related documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support bank account management, including the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts and account structures.
  • Liaise with banks and other financial institutions to facilitate transactions and resolve banking-related issues.
  • Perform month-end closing activities.
  • Resolve business and vendor queries while ensuring a high level of stakeholder service.
  • Collaborate daily with internal and external stakeholders, including Finance, Accounts Payable, Controlling, Tax, Banks, and System Providers.
  • Maintain and update procedures, controls, and process documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
  • Participate in and lead process improvement projects, focusing on automation, simplification, quality, and productivity enhancements.
  • Meet agreed KPIs and SLAs, ensuring all targets are achieved.
  • Provide backup support for team members during absences and assist with ad hoc requests as required
  • Contribute to a positive working environment within the Global Shared Services Centre (GSS).
