As a Junior or Intermediate Accountant at Kelly+Partners Bundall, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering technical excellence and supporting the growth of our team. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
  • Completing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations for a diverse client base
  • Managing payroll tax and workers compensation reconciliations
  • Liaising with statutory authorities and providing support to clients
  • Collaborating on process improvements and contributing to a culture of growth, accountability, and shared success
  • Participating in team events, monthly tax workshops, and professional development sessions

What You Bring

You’re a proactive accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, high‑performing environment. You bring experience from customer‑facing roles, giving you a strong service mindset, confidence in communicating with clients, and the ability to build trusted, long‑term relationships.

  • 0-2 years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies
  • Familiarity with practice management platforms such as MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks - or a strong aptitude for learning new systems
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills
  • A client-first mindset and commitment to delivering quality service
  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and take initiative
  • A long-term vision to grow and contribute meaningfully to the team
