The Huntington Beach team is part of Coke Marketing - a global specialty products business with customers and clients on multiple continents. Dealing with people from a wide variety of corporate and cultural backgrounds is a daily experience. Coke Marketing is focused on being the best specialty products business built on a foundation of earned trust, respect for all, safe, compliant, and reliable operations delivered by engaged and capable people focused on conducting ethical business activities consistent with bp’s Code of Conduct. Coke Technical team supports Coke Marketing and all bp coke operations (Cherry Point, Whiting, Castellon, Lingen) and includes tolling/commercial agreements in Germany, Egypt and Oman.
The primary areas for Coke Technical are Quality Assurance oversight, new product development, customer support, marketing support, product reputation protection, research studies, and technical advice and training. Within the Coke Technical team a Junior Technician provides coke focused laboratory testing, data generation, and data interpretation in support of BP’s Coke Marketing activities. The role encompasses both routine and project orientated testing, ensuring integrity of data generated, and report generation. All while maintaining a safe and clean working environment
