If so, join us as a Junior Technical Back Office for Trade located in Milano, Italia, where you will manage the end-to-end quoting process for lighting products and projects. You will ensure timely, accurate, and profitable quotations that strengthen our market position and support sales growth. This is your opportunity to combine technical expertise with commercial acumen and make a direct impact on project success.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end quotation process for lighting projects, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain quote strategies that maximize profitability and strengthen customer trust.
  • Review tender documents, technical drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed and precise quotations.
  • Build strong partnerships with trade customers, contractors, and internal teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and product recommendations during the quoting phase to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Provide technical support to our internal sales team
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure seamless transition from quote to order fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to refine quoting strategies and maintain competitiveness.

Skills & Experience

  • You have around one to three years of proven experience in quotation management or estimating, ideally in an electrical wholesaler, electrical planner, lighting, back office for electrical installer, or construction supply.
  • You show a strong knowledge of lighting products and industry standards.
  • You demonstrate the ability to read technical drawings and lighting layouts.
  • You have experience in quoting and CRM software, ideally Salesforce and Excel.
  • You understand trade pricing structures and margin management.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working with electricians, contractors, or specifiers.
  • If you have some basic knowledge of SAP, DIALux, and AutoCAD, it is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in Italian and English.
  • Ideally, a background in electrical engineering, lighting design, or a similar technical field is preferred.
