Junior Tax Associate

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Tax Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities including research, analysis, and support on international tax matters and compliance.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct research on various international tax matters, incl. case law.
• Monitor legislative changes in tax laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Analyze tax implications on business decisions and contribute to minimizing tax risks.
• Support tax and compliance operations within the Group.
• Assist in developing tax structures and preparing tax returns for various international entities.
• Support both internal and external tax audits.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS or MA/MS degree in economics, business, or other related field.
• 1 year + of work experience in international tax (experience in the Big 4 or top-niche boutique consulting firms will be preferable).
• Strong desire to dive into and explore new countries' tax legislation.
• Strong research skills (i. a. using databases like IBFD, Tax Analyst, CCH Answer Connect, etc.).
• Basic understanding of international tax principles, familiarity with tax treaties, key tax concepts and acronyms such as OECD, BEPS, ATAD, and DAC.
• English proficiency (upper-intermediate, advanced), with strong communication skills – is a must.
• Proficient in MS Excel and adaptive to new technologies.
• Proactive, team-oriented, and eager to take on challenges.
