Our Technology team plays a vital role in enabling this impact delivering scalable, secure and high-performing systems that support our global operations. We have an opportunity for a Junior Systems Manager to join our team based in Manchester.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Junior Systems Manager to join our Technology team, supporting the development, deployment and optimisation of enterprise platforms across City Football Group.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their technology or systems career to build hands-on experience within a complex, global organisation. You’ll work across a range of systems and projects, gaining exposure to enterprise-scale environments while contributing to the reliability and performance of our technology landscape.
Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will support day-to-day system operations, assist with enhancements and play a key role in maintaining high standards of governance, security and service delivery.

What we are looking for
Essential
Experience supporting business or enterprise systems, either through a role or relevant projects.
A strong interest in systems management, technology operations and service delivery.
Basic understanding of delivery methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
Demonstratable problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
Desirable
• Exposure to scripting or development languages.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Awareness of cloud platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts.
