Our WSP Building Structures group are a specialist team renowned for their innovation in structural engineering and cutting-edge BIM project execution across high-rise and complex building structures and infrastructure projects, with offices in every major city across Australia.

Our Adelaide team is working on small, medium and large projects across a range of sectors, including projects in Defence and DFAT. But we have a national team approach to all our projects, which means you will work on projects across Australia, not just projects in South Australia, ensuring you gain a breadth of experience across a diverse range of projects and industries.

What you'll do

  • Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets;
  • Have the opportunity to work on iconic projects within a multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver a range of engineering projects.
  • Support the wider team and other teams within the company nationally when the opportunity presents.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to team approach and outcomes.
  • Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients.
  • Provide ongoing continuous improvement and development inputs to create more efficient workflows within the team.

About You

  • Bachelors level degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 1-3 years post Graduate industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience working on large Australian or New Zealand building structures engineering projects within the Commercial Building and Property sector is essential.
  • Exposure across a range of local building sectors, e.g., transport, health, commercial, defence;
  • Solid proficiency in all-round structural engineering design including post-tensioned concrete;
  • Track record of collaborating effectively with colleagues intra/cross-discipline on projects;
  • Proficiency with SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, RAM Concept
  • Familiarity with BIM, NavisWorks and Revit would be advantageous
