How you'll drive success:

  • Design elevated, warm and design-led retail environments, translating the A&M brand into inspiring physical spaces that feel premium, welcoming and commercially successful, and confidently bringing creative ideas to life in thoughtful, practical and commercially viable retail environments.
  • Lead projects from concept through design development, documentation and delivery, managing multiple design projects end-to-end with consistency, quality and attention to detail, including site visits throughout the design and construction process to ensure exceptional delivery standards.
  • Develop creative concepts, mood boards, layouts, material palettes and presentation documents, while sourcing materials, furniture, fixtures, fittings and styling elements and producing accurate technical drawing packages, design intent documentation and detailed joinery drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Project Management, Visual Merchandising, Brand Creative, Print Design and Retail, as well as external architects, consultants, suppliers and contractors, to deliver a seamless 360° design process and ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.
  • Research store locations, customer demographics, materials, furniture, fixtures, competitors and emerging retail trends to inform design decisions, while continuously evolving and elevating the A&M retail experience and balancing creativity with technical excellence.

What you'll need to thrive:

  • Natural alignment with our values, reflected in how you show up.
  • 2+ years experience in retail, commercial or interior design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating concept development through to built outcomes.
  • An exceptional eye for design, materials, spatial planning, detailing and styling, with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to interpret creative briefs into compelling, commercially viable design solutions.
  • Excellent technical knowledge, with the ability to develop concepts into buildable, well-resolved documentation and produce technical drawing packages and joinery documentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp, with experience in Enscape or V-Ray (a bonus, but not essential).
  • Outstanding organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proactive, hands-on attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for bringing ambitious ideas to life.

About Astrid & Miyu

Our Brand Story:

Astrid & Miyu was founded in 2012 by Connie Nam. Born in Seoul, Korea she spent much of her life travelling and living in different countries. Inspired by her mother, jewellery had been a part of her life from a very young age.

Anytime she travelled she would always pick something up from local markets or small quirky jewellers. Her purchases were always spontaneous and serendipitous. However, when she wanted to purchase with intent for family, friends or herself she struggled to find a go-to brand. The experiences in existing brands were stale and impersonal, with products under glass counters and sales staff in black uniform. It all felt staid and uninspiring.

Connie saw this as an opportunity to bring something different to the market. Inspired by her local jeweller back home in Seoul, she wanted to offer products that were full of sentiment and innovative in design, together with an experience that was personal and engaging, and most importantly to create a brand that is inclusive and empowering.

A decade later and Astrid & Miyu is internationally celebrated as being more than just a jewellery brand.

Our Mission:

More than just a jewellery brand, we are a movement on a mission to revolutionise the jewellery experience.
