This role will work closely with Darrell Kake, Partner and Accredited Commercial Litigation Specialist in both New South Wales and Queensland. Darrell has extensive experience acting in complex commercial disputes and court proceedings across multiple Australian jurisdictions and
overseas.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Junior Solicitor or Paralegal to join our Brisbane office. This role is ideally suited to someone in the early stages of their legal career who has gained foundational litigation experience and is eager to continue developing their skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will work closely with senior practitioners on a range of matters, gaining hands-on experience and meaningful responsibility from day one. While the role will primarily involve commercial litigation matters, there may also be opportunities to assist across related practice areas as required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Junior solicitor (0–2 years PAE) or an experienced paralegal
  • Prior litigation experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and solid drafting, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while working collaboratively within a team
  • Professional, organised, and capable of managing competing priorities
  • Commercial mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Interest in client engagement, networking, and professional development
  • Fluency in Chinese or another language in addition to English is advantageous
  • Keen sense of humour to fit in with our amazing group of team players
