About Us

As our team continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated Junior Solicitor with at least one year’s experience in workers’ compensation law to help manage our increasing caseload.

Our Chatswood team provides comprehensive workers’ compensation services, handling claims from lodgment through to resolution, as well as related matters like motor vehicle accidents, public liability, and medical negligence.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to develop your expertise in workers’ compensation law within a supportive and collaborative environment. You will work closely with experienced lawyers on a variety of Workers’ Compensation cases, gaining valuable hands-on experience, and contributing to positive outcomes for clients. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills, take on increasing responsibility, and make a real difference in the lives of injured workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the management of workers’ compensation claims from lodgment to resolution

• Conducting legal research related to workers’ compensation laws and regulations

• Preparing case files, reviews, and documentation for hearings and negotiations

• Supporting senior lawyers during client meetings, conciliation conferences, and hearings

• Maintaining high levels of communication and communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders

• Contributing to team efforts to manage increasing caseloads efficiently

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent, with a minimum of one year’s experience in Workers’ Compensation

• Current NSW practising certificate

• Good understanding of workers’ compensation legislation and processes

• Strong research, organisational, and communication skills

• Ability to work proactively within a team and manage multiple priorities

• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not essential
