What You Will Do:

  • Participate in specification, design and implementation of software features for radio products and power amplifiers
  • Perform hands on testing of Radio Frequency (RF) communication products.
  • Participate in the on-going support of applications and products, both in-house and with clients.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must be a Canadian Citizen
  • Must either hold or be eligible for a Government of Canada Secret Level Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Access.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Sound skills in C/C++ and real-time embedded computer architectures
  • Signals, RF and Systems experience
  • DSP and/or waveform implementation experience
  • Experience with RF testing equipment: spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, and signal generator
  • Object Oriented programming skills
  • Knowledgeable in the software life cycle including definition, requirement analysis and design, implementation, validation and support

The salary range for this role is 54,000 CAD - 93,150 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical and dental coverage, disability benefits, a retirement savings program, and tuition assistance through RTX’s Employee Scholar Program. Eligibility for specific benefits is based on factors such as position level, employment type (e.g., temporary or permanent), and business unit, and will be discussed during the hiring process.
