Key Areas of Responsibility

The Software development Engineer is in charge of

• The setup and management of the system applications required by NXP Software projects
• The development of the new system features dedicated to NXP Software team
• The specification and documentation of the features and the deployment infrastructure
• The deployment and support of these features in Production, on multiple sites (France and International)

Skills

• Strong knowledge in Software development (Python, C, C++)
• Strong knowledge in Software validation tools and methods
• Strong knowledge in Bash, Groovy, and scripting languages in general
• Good knowledge in Web development (HTML/CSS, REST API, Django, web frameworks)
• Good knowledge of database engines (MariaDB, Postgres, NoSQL) and reporting (BI)
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows, including system management
• Advanced knowledge and experience of Docker, Jenkins, Git, Nexus is a real plus
• Engineering diploma in electronics or software development
• Quick learning curve is a must
• High level of reactivity and commitment
• Agile methodology knowledge and practice
• Capability to work in stressful environment whith dynamic priorities
• Likes to work cross sites in an international context, with capability to adapt to different cultural contexts

Recommended/optional

• Knowledge of NFC/UWB standards
• Knowledge and experience in embedded FW development and debugging is a plus

Languages : Fluent in English and French.
