Junior Software Developer Protege Trainee (Ref. No. R1011842)

at our location in Kuala-Lumpur

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

• Develop backend logic for an AI‑driven procurement chatbot or agent.
• Design and implement APIs and system integrations.
• Build automations and workflow logic.
• Work with AI components such as LLM integrations, prompt logic, and function calling.
• Support architectural decisions and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the functional project lead.

You have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong fundamentals in programming (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#).
• Understanding of APIs, data structures, and software architecture.
• Interest in AI, automation, and agent‑based systems.
• Ability to work both independently and in a small team.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.).
• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies or low‑code/no‑code tools.
• Initial exposure to chatbots, RPA, or AI frameworks.
• Analytical and structured thinker.
• Fast learner with eagerness to explore new technologies.
• Detail‑oriented with clean coding habits.
• Collaborative and communicative.
• Creative, proactive, and improvement‑driven.
• Accountable and reliable.
• User‑focused mindset.
• Awareness of responsible AI and data privacy practices.
