The junior Software Developer in Xpert project is supporting a telecommunications software component assists in implementing features, fixing defects,
and maintaining code under the guidance of senior engineers. They work with established designs and coding standards, write unit tests, and help investigate issues. The role involves close collaboration with the team to ensure reliability, performance, and protocol compliance across releases.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for localized bug fixes and minor feature enhancements under supervision.

• Scope of a given task typically resides within one module.

• Understanding and application of zero-defect policy (not adding defects with changes).

• Ensuring expected quality and manner while completing all tasks and obligations defined by superiors

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge

• At least 1 year experience in a development project

• Passionate about software/technology

• Good command of English

• Knowledge of C++

• Knowledge of Java

• A mindset of solving hard problems efficiently with creativity

• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures

• Ability to learn new technologies/frameworks fast, and apply them to *any* codebase

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

• Knowledge of frameworks (Qt), unit testing frameworks and design patterns

• Hands on experience with Linux OS/scripting languages (bash, perl, python)

• Knowledge of version control software - git

• Understanding of C++ 11/14/17 standards
