The Junior SIGINT Analyst performs routine analysis of communications and electronic signals to support intelligence operations. The analyst works under general supervision and contributes to mission-focused SIGINT reporting.
Analyze SIGINT data to identify basic signal characteristics, patterns, and anomalies
Perform signal classification and basic technical analysis
Produce routine SIGINT intelligence reports and serialized reporting
Support operational tasking and collection management requirements
Collaborate with all-source analysts to integrate SIGINT-derived insights
Apply SIGINT tradecraft standards and compliance requirements
Working knowledge of communications systems, protocols, or RF environments
Ability to analyze structured and unstructured signal data
Strong technical writing and reporting skills
Familiarity with SIGINT tools, databases, and analytic workflows
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 4 years total experience, including at least 2 years of specialized SIGINT experience
