Our Deloitte Central Mediterranean practice (Greece, Italy, Malta) hosts our Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Magento/Adobe Commerce competence center. We are growing the pipeline of Italian based clients; thus, we are expanding to support international collaboration opportunities within Deloitte member firms across EMEA.

By joining our team, you will refine your skills and enhance your Web development abilities expand your knowledge of the eCommerce world, work on stimulating projects, and could interact with nationally and internationally relevant companies.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable web applications using Shopify. As an analyst, you will be responsible for implementing web-based applications for our clients. You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
You will be part of the Commerce team within the Marketing & Commerce area of Deloitte Digital. We are a cohesive team, passionate about eCommerce and innovative technologies, accustomed to working in national, European, and international contexts.
As an Analyst, you will have the opportunity to share your experience and knowledge with other colleagues, and identify the best solution for the client, taking care of:
• Working on the development of B2C eCommerce platforms in Agile, supporting all project phases, from analysis to development, testing, and deployment
• Interacting with various team members (team leaders, technical architects, functional specialists, UX/UI experts, and other developers) to collaboratively complete project activities
• Engaging with Client company representatives to gather their needs and support them in identifying the best solution

Key Qualifications
To qualify for the role, you must have:
• 0–1 year of professional experience in web development, digital agencies, consulting firms, or eCommerce environments
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Web Development, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development
• Familiarity with jQuery and modern front-end development practices
• Understanding of web development principles, browser compatibility, and responsive design
• Experience using Git and version control systems
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality user experiences
• Knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals and pixel-perfect implementation
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and client-server communication
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and eCommerce platforms
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Bonus Qualifications
• Familiarity with scalable front-end architecture patterns
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-based deployment (AWS, Azure, Vercel, Netlify)
• Experience with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Knowledge of API design (REST and/or GraphQL)
• Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright)
• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
• Experience building or maintaining design systems and reusable UI components
• Familiarity with performance monitoring and analytics tools
• Up-to-date awareness of emerging web technologies and commitment to continuous learning
