Job Description

Junior ServiceNow Application Developer

We are looking for a Junior ServiceNow Application Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions that automate business processes and support facility and asset management. You will work on implementing ServiceNow Workplace Service Delivery (WSD), developing custom applications, integrating external systems, and supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities


  • Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, WSD).

  • Develop custom solutions using JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Actions.

  • Configure workflows using Flow Designer and customize Service Portal with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Implement data models for assets, buildings, spaces, contracts, suppliers, and fleet management.

  • Develop and support REST and SOAP integrations.

  • Perform data migration, integration testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

  • Produce technical documentation and support end users.

  • Follow ServiceNow Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) best practices and development standards.

Required Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience.

  • At least 3 years of ServiceNow implementation and configuration experience.

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, JavaScript, Flow Designer, REST, SOAP, HTML, and CSS

  • Experience with ITSM, HRSD, and Service Portal development.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Experience with Workplace Service Delivery (WSD) is an advantage.

  • Public sector experience is a plus.

Preferred Certifications


  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – HRSD

  • WSD certification is an advantage.

Languages


  • Active knowledge of Dutch, French, and English
