About the Role:

Reporting to the Service Lab Manager, the Junior Service Technician will be responsible for supporting the inspection, testing, repair, and preparation of Clarion’s medical systems. Working under the guidance of Senior Technicians, the Team Lead, and the Lab Manager, this development-focused role is ideal for someone eager to build technical expertise, product knowledge, and service best practices while contributing to high‑quality customer support and regulatory compliance.

This role is for an open vacancy.

Estimated Compensation Range: $50,000–$55,000 annually (base salary + bonus). The estimated range reflects the budgeted compensation for this position. Final offers may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job‑related considerations.

The successful applicant will:

  • Assist with diagnostics, testing, calibration, and repair of medical equipment
  • Perform incoming/outgoing QC inspections using established procedures
  • Support equipment modifications to meet CSA and internal quality standards
  • Document service activities and test results accurately
  • Help troubleshoot customer issues (phone, email, remote access)
  • Support on‑site service visits with senior technicians
  • Assist with product updates, service bulletins, and minor upgrades
  • Maintain lab organization and track parts usage
  • Participate in training to build products and regulatory knowledge

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • Diploma or certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technician/Technologist, Computer Engineering Technician/Technologist, or a related program.
  • 0–2 years of experience in technical service or repairs.
  • Co-op, internship, or academic lab experience considered an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow structured troubleshooting processes.
  • Basic understanding of electronic and electromechanical systems.
  • Ability to use standard electronic test equipment (training provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Exposure to networking and remote login tools.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer focused mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
