Job Description

• 2–5+ years of INCOME TAX PREPARATION experience WITH A CPA FIRM (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
• Strong hands-on experience with  Lacerte (MANDATORY – profiles without this will be rejected)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Experience preparing multiple return types:  1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041
• Stable work history ( NO JOB HOPPERS)
• Candidate must be  local to Tulsa, OK (within 40 miles) OR open to relocation (only if highly reliable)
• Must be open to  ONSITE work + FACE-TO-FACE interview

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare  federal and state income tax returns for:
  • Individuals (1040)
  • Partnerships (1065)
  • Corporations (1120 / 1120S)
  • Trusts (1041)
• Prepare and maintain  accurate tax workpapers
• Ensure  accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of all filings
• Handle multiple client engagements across industries
• Maintain high standards of  quality and attention to detail

Technical Skills Required:

• Lacerte (MUST HAVE – PRIMARY TOOL)
• QuickBooks
• Sage 50 Accounting
• Microsoft Excel

Ideal Candidate Profile – Tax Accountant (CPA Firm)

1. 2–5+ years  hands-on income tax preparation experience in a CPA firm (MANDATORY)
2. Strong experience preparing  1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041 returns
3. Expert-level usage of  Lacerte (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
4. Working knowledge of  QuickBooks and Sage 50 Accounting
5. Solid Excel skills for tax workpapers and data handling
6. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA not required but a plus)
7. Currently working or recently worked in a  public accounting / CPA firm environment
8. Proven ability to handle  multiple client engagements simultaneously
9. Strong understanding of  federal and state tax compliance
10. Experience preparing  accurate and audit-ready tax workpapers
11. High attention to detail with  zero-error mindset
12. Stable career history ( no frequent job changes)
13. Experience working with clients from  Real Estate, Medical, Restaurants, Legal, Oil & Gas preferred
14. Comfortable working in a  fast-paced tax season environment
15. Able to meet deadlines with  minimal supervision
16. Strong communication skills with internal teams and clients
17. Must be  local to Tulsa, OK (within 40 miles) or open to relocation (if highly reliable)
18. Fully committed to  onsite work (no remote / no hybrid expectation)
19. Willing to attend  face-to-face final interview
20. Can provide  verified professional references at submission stage
